Relic Entertainment is a leading edge developer of electronic entertainment software. Relic's debut product Homeworld launched in 1999 to near unanimous recognition as one of the best video games of the year. It won the "Game of the Year" from PC Gamer and Computer Gaming World's "Strategy Game of the Year." Homeworld: Cataclysm, developed by Barking Dog Studios, followed in 2000 and Homeworld 2, the sequel to Homeworld, was released in 2003. The Company also released Impossible Creatures in 2003, a 3D, Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game set in the 1930s. In September 2004, Relic shipped the critically acclaimed RTS, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War.

Today, Relic is building on their RTS legacy by developing multiple ground-breaking projects including Company of Heroes (scheduled for release in 2006) winner of multiple “Strategy Game of Show” and “PC Game of Show” awards at E3 2005, as well as bringing their high-end expertise into the realm of the next-generation of consoles with The Outfit (2006).
